So - he’s done it. Donald J Trump will be the Republican candidate in November’s US presidential elections, more than likely (sorry Bernie) facing off against Hilary Clinton on the Democratic ticket.

Loathe him or really loathe him, there’s no doubt his populist anger has struck a chord among a section of the American population – with Trump representing the classic contradiction of an obscenely wealthy billionaire striking a chord with the poor, white middle classes ruined in the 08 property disaster.

He has consistently confounded expectations and the opprobrium of even the right wing political elite (even the Bush family has disowned him), but he keeps winning.

But can he go all the way in November – and, most importantly, given his pronouncements on everything from race to foreign relations, what will it mean to have a man like Trump in charge of the world’s last standing superpower?

That’s why we’re asking: would a Trump presidency be a danger to world peace?

Vote now – and let us know what you think!
