Scottish charities have sounded alarm bells about the damage Brexit will do to Scottish society.

Research by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations, and published in TFN, shows Scottish charities fear leaving the European Union will be bad for the economy and make it harder for them to support people in need.

They are worried that Scottish society could suffer in the years ahead.

That’s why we’re asking: will Brexit break Scotland?

Brexit is terrible but won't "break Scotland". It does of course give TFN the chance to run a poll likely to give Martin Syme the opportunity to run a scary anti-Westminster front page though satisfying his political bias.

We get a great deal more funding from Statutory UK than EU sources and this will continue. Unless of course we break from the UK in which case we will dam THAT funding stream as well. As a double throat cutting exercise, the EU independence plans take a note of beating
