The Arts &Business Scotland Culture and Business Fund Roadshow is back and this time we're in Argyll & Bute.

A&BS will be visiting Dunoon on Wednesday 20th March and Rothesay on Thursday 21st March to run FREE workshops and evening receptions for arts, heritage and business professionals to learn about the Culture & Business Fund Scotland (CBFS).

The CBFS provides £ for £ match funding of arts and heritage projects that have secured support from first time and returning business sponsors.

Workshop: 15.30 - 17.00
A practical session for arts and heritage professionals who wish to learn about how to apply to the fund
Reception: 17.30 - 19.00
A networking and drinks reception for arts, heritage and business professionals who wish to hear from successful CBFS partnerships

The workshops will feature:
- Insights on how to attract a business and to nurture and develop lasting arts and business partnerships
- A detailed, yet easy to understand session on the application criteria, eligibility guidelines and terms and conditions
- Stage by stage run through on completing each section of the application
- True stories demonstrating the power of business and cultural partnerships
- Q&A session to answer all your queries about the fund

Speakers will include David White, Director of IFS Worldwide Ltd, and Deirdre MacKenna, Director of Cultural Documents who will share their experience of forming a creative partnership that secured match funding support from the Culture & Business Fund Scotland and resulted in winning the prestigious Arts & Business 2016 Award for the most innovative International partnership.
Deirdre MacKenna will also share her experience of working in partnership with Metro Imaging in 2010 and in 2017, creating the partnership between the Oban Community Trust, the Rockfield Centre, Glenburnie House and Hazelbank Motors, which received the first Culture & Business Fund Scotland award in Argyll.
