Real Talk hosts Mind the Craic

Since June 2018, Mind the Craic has been collecting the voices of 1001 Edinburgh citizens of all ages from 7 years old to 98 years old, from all walks of life.

The findings of the project have now emerged and can now shed light on what works, and what is needed, in the fields of prevention and early intervention for Edinburgh's residents.

We are delighted invite you to our storytelling event, where ordinary Edinburgh citizens will be performing as storytellers, sharing their experience of the third sector, social isolation and of their own personal journeys.

Lily Asch, Real Talk Founder, said: “We are so excited about our collaboration with EVOC and Mind the Craic. We've been working with a group of individuals, including both service users and support workers, to empower them in crafting a 10 minute story about some part of their journey.

“The process has included two storytelling workshops and will culminate in an intimate performance at the Scottish Storytelling Centre."

The full Mind the Craic report, as well as a documentary film will be available on 21 March 2019 on EVOC’s website.
