George Reid

Goodmovers 27 Sept 2017 - who has a new job?

Children's Hospices Across Scotland (Chas) welcomed board member George Reid, as the new chair of the national children's hospice service charity. George was officially appointed following the Chas 25th annual general meeting and was welcomed by staff, volunteers and families using Rachel House, during an afternoon tea. He succeeds Professor Gordon Dickson, who after 12 years of voluntary service to Chas, is retiring. Over the past 12 years, Professor Dickson has been central to the charity's success as it has evolved not only its care and support, but children's palliative care as a whole. George Reid joined the Chas board of directors in 2009, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the financial sector.
