Deadline for the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland fund in 19 December, 2014

Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland has opened round four of its Self Management Impact Fund.

The fund is available to third sector organisations and partnerships looking to develop new project ideas that help people, who live with long term conditions, to access the support they need to successfully manage their own life.

Themes for the fund include unpaid carers, volunteering, technology and older adults.

It builds upon the Self Management Fund which invested £4 million in 81 projects from 2009-11.

The Impact Fund has so far supported 73 projects across Scotland and is a key recommendation of Gaun Yersel - The Self Management Strategy for Scotland published in 2008 in partnership between The Alliance and the Scottish Government.

Deadline for submissions is Friday 19 December 2014.

Full details including guidance notes, eligibility and criteria for the fund can be found on the Self Management Impact Fund webpage where an application pack can also be downloaded.
