Dame Barbara Kelly

Dame Barbara Kelly

Dame Barbara Kelly has been appointed chairman of The Robertson Trust board of directors. She joined the board of the trust in 2002 and was previously the convenor of its Giving Committee,which was responsible for awarding over £16 million to charitable projects last year. Dame Barbara has held a number of senior public appointments including chairman of the Scottish Consumer Council,equal opportunities commissioner for Scotland and as chair of the UK Architects Registration Board.She was a founding director of Scottish Enterprise, a non-executive director of Clydesdale Bank Plc and the convenor of the Millennium Forest for Scotland Trust. She replaces David Stevenson as chairman, who will remain as a director on the board.

Lauren Blair

Lauren Blair

Lauren Blair has joined Voluntary Health Scotland (VHS) in a newly created post as programme engagement officer. This new role will look to develop and deliver a programme of events for VHS and lead on external engagement. Previously, Blair worked at Scottish policy conference company MacKay Hannah, since 2004 in the position of policy researcher. During her time at MacKay Hannah, she gained over 10 years of experience in organising and managing a range of events across numerous policy areas in Scotland.

Richard Findlay

Richard Findlay

Richard Findlay has been appointed as the chairman of the board of Creative Scotland. Richard previously chaired STV group from 2007 until 2013, was chief executive of Scottish Radio Holdings and was the founding chairman of the National Theatre of Scotland until 2013. A graduate and later governor of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now theRoyal Conservatoire of Scotland), Findlay has held senior posts in the media in the UK and Ireland and chaired the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh for six years in the 1990s. He was made awarded a CBE for services to the arts and creative industries in 2013 and currently chairs an online educational apps company based in London.
