With Kids deliver the only MSc in Play Therapy in Scotland

A charity has been praised for the work it carries out to help ensure young people to thrive.

With Kids deliver the only MSc in Play Therapy in Scotland, helping to create a workforce that can support children. The taught masters course prepare students for working therapeutically with children, young people and their families in a range of settings in the public and private sector.

The course was recently awarded a STaR Award for the Programme of the Year from the Student’s Union at Queen Margaret University.  The accolade is awarded to students, staff and courses that make a difference to the student experience.

Fiona Evans, MSc course director, said: “We are delighted to receive the award which recognises the commitment and hard work of the staff team to ensure the student experience is the best it can be.”

She went on to say that With Kids are continually striving to enhance the programme for students and provide a positive learning experience for all.

The nomination for the award is made by the students on the programme and the winners are selected by a Student Union Panel.
