Edinburgh-Based charity awarded Gold Investors in People Accreditation

Into Work celebrates prestigious accreditation for employee support.

An Edinburgh and Lothian based charity dedicated to making work more inclusive for disabled people has announced it has been awarded the prestigious We Invest in People Gold accreditation from Investors in People.

After maintaining a silver ranking for the past three years, Into Work is delighted to have progressed to achieve gold status.

This recognition underscores the organisation's commitment to improving work conditions for everyone within the company.

The Investors in People assessor, in their report, highlighted the exceptional qualities of Into Work, noting: "Fundamentally what I found was that Into Work is a great organisation both externally and internally. The people that work there are so passionate about what they do and the organisation they work in."

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: "Gold accreditation on We Invest in People is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places Into Work in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people."

Since 1993, Into Work has been working towards creating a world where disabled people have equal opportunity to take up employment and receive fair treatment in work, by helping disabled and neurodivergent people and those with long-term health conditions to achieve their goals of finding and keeping a paid job.

Into Work’s senior manager, Rebecca Allen, added: "I am thrilled that we have received this accreditation. I am especially proud that we achieved a platinum score for the ‘Living the organisation’s values’ indicator.

“Our values are so important to us and are at the core of everything we do, so it was fantastic to see this recognized."
