Scotland's highest pay charity chief executive stood down from his £220,000 job this week. Stuart Earley had been at the helm of the Scottish SPCA for eight years and earned around twice as much as the next highest paid Scottish charity chief executive. He resigned this week amid claims the public had stopped donating to the cause because of stories of his salary.
