World champion boxer Amir Khan has flown out to the Greek island of Lesvos to help the Penny Appeal support refugee families arriving with nothing

Watch world-champion boxer Amir Khan greet and provide aid to refugees arriving on the Greek island of Lesvos in this video.

Khan, the father of one-year-old Lamaisah, witnesses first hand what refugees are going through when they arrive on the shores of Lesvos.

He speaks to parents who choose not to eat themselves in order to feed their children.

"I'd be devastated to see my child in that position," he says.

Khan is working with the Penny Appeal to raise money to support refugees in Europe – something some other aid agencies are not prepared to do.
