Brownies are so cute - especially when they’re telling off the Prime Minister!

A Brownie from Montrose has reminded David Cameron that helping other people in crisis is the British way

They may not salute God and country anymore, but the nation's Brownies are still fighting the good fight.

This youngster was so moved by the plight of refugees in Europe, she has written a fantastic letter to the Prime Minister reminding him exactly what his responsibilities are.

The Brownies, who are all aged between seven and nine, also made posters about the refugee crisis to help request donations from their local community.

This youngster is a member of 1st Ferryden Brownies in the Montrose District of Girlguiding Scotland. Do you know her? Has she had a reply?

As a Brownie leader I must congratulate this young girl on a very moving letter and maybe more people should sit up and take notice of what she has to say. Well done.
