Zaffo gives charities the ability to set up online raffles, sell tickets and manage campaigns

Charities will be able to raise funds through online raffles after a dedicated digital platform was launched this month.

Created by Capen, the UK’s only specialist digital external lottery manager, Zaffo allows charitable organisation to create online raffles, sell tickets and manage campaigns.

Zaffo raffles are completely free to set up and can be ran in conjunction with traditional paper raffles.

Simon Rydings, chief executive of Capen, said: “We’re really proud to help smaller charitable organisations - many of whom are doing amazing work with virtually no budget - get their raffles online and reach their supporters in an innovative and dynamic way.”

Charities already using the platform include The Royal Institution of Great Britain, Sheffield Hospitals Charity and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.

Catriona Sinclair at The Royal Institution said: “The Royal Institution is delighted to be able to run our Golden Ticket Raffle with support from the team at Zaffo.

“As an independent charity we need the support of everyone to be able to continue our national and International science education programmes.”
