Sense Scotland is looking for runners to don Christmas costumes for the annual event

Runners are being asked to don their antlers this December for a fundraising dash which makes a difference.

Sense Scotland's annual Reindeer Run takes place on Sunday, 3 December at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, with all proceeds going to the charity.

Every step in the 5K Reindeer Run and Toddler Dash will help raise vital cash for people with communication support needs.

"The Reindeer Run 5K and Toddler Dash has become a staple event in our diary with runners returning year on year,” said Andy Kerr, chief executive of Sense Scotland.

"The funds they raise will help us provide services which have a massive, positive impact on the lives of the people Sense Scotland supports. This festive event has something for everyone, so get a group of friends, family or colleagues together and kick-start your Christmas celebrations."

The charity is urging people to dig out their best festive get up, whether that be Rudolf, Santa, an elf or even a Christmas tree, with prizes for the best dressed. Entry costs £10 for an adult and £5 for a child, with registration open now.
