Sleep Out and raise money to fight homelessness

Spend the night under the stars in Edinburgh on 6 November

Homelessness charity the Rock Trust is still looking for participants to take part in its Edinburgh Sleep Out event next month.

On Thursday, 6 November dozens of locals will spend the night under the stars camping at the city’s Festival Square to raise money to support young homeless people in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Although temperatures may be chilly those taking part will be kept warm throughout the night.

We’re encouraging workmates, families, teams and individuals to sign up and take part to prove that homelessness isn’t an issue that can be swept under the carpet

Each participant will receive provisions that people on the streets rarely receive such as hot drinks throughout the night and fun activities and games including a silent disco, tug of war, and live music from Solareye, the front man of award winning Scottish hip hop standard bearers Stanley Odd.

Last minute registrations are available from the Sleep Out’s website and cost just £15 for what promises to be a truly unique experience.

Last year’s events raised more than £28,000 and Rock Trust chief executive Kate Polson said the charity has since helped hundreds of people from across Edinburgh and the Lothians, showing homelessness is a real problem.

“We’re encouraging workmates, families, teams and individuals to sign up and take part to prove that homelessness isn’t an issue that can be swept under the carpet," Polson added.

That is very unique and different concept regarding sleep out and raise money to fight homelessness. I always like to help the people who really deserve for the help especially homelessness people. However, I try to know about http://essayguard.co.uk/ but here i must say we should support such people and foundations.
