Sturgeon was in the house at One Parent Families

A toddler kept deputy first minister Nicola Sturgeon company when she visited a drop-in centre in Maryhill, Glasgow, run by the One Parent Families Scotland charity.

Sturgeon announced how the Scottish Government was planning to use £7 million to help people hardest hit in Scotland by Westminster’s welfare reforms. Areas to benefit in 2014/15 include anti-poverty projects which will receive £2.5m.
