Views are being sought on an initiative which aims to help disabled people live independent lives.

Following the closure of the UK Independent Living Fund (ILF) four years ago, the Scottish Government established a new organisation, Independent Living Fund (ILF) Scotland.

The fund, which provides day-to-day practical support that enables disabled people to live at home and participate in work, training and education, was created to ensure support was continued for those in need.

Now, a new strategy for ILF Scotland is being prepared and members of the voluntary sector are being asked for their views.

An ILF Scotland spokesman said: “We would like as many people as possible to complete the survey and help influence what ILF Scotland prioritises over the coming years. It is vitally important that we listen to you, and in turn reflect your opinions to government.”

To learn more and take part, visit the ILF Scotland website. The survey is open until 10 October.
