Poll: Is 10K race where competitors drink wine instead of water irresponsible?

This poll is about 8 years old

A 10K “fun run” in Glasgow where competitors drink wine every two miles has been slammed by a leading charity. While many would be entrants have been salivating at the thought on social media, Alcohol Focus Scotland said the event, due to take place on 24 September, is at best “ill-thought through” and at worst could put people’s health at risk. What do you think? Should organisers be forced to put a cork in their plans it or is it all just one big carafe?
