New Edinburgh restaurant Franco Manca is looking for local organisations who help disadvantaged people to get in touch

A new Edinburgh restaurant is offering free pizzas to local charities.

Franco Manca are planning to give back to the local community by donating pizza to local homeless charities, food banks or shelters between 23 September and 7 October.

The London-based chain opened its new Edinburgh location on 22 August inside the Mint Building on St Andrew Square.

The company have previously been involved in initiatives to help people without food or shelter; last December the restaurant chain donated thousands of pizzas to help people who would have otherwise gone hungry.

To help them reach as many people as possible, they’re calling on members of local homeless shelters and foodbanks to get in touch. If you want to put your organisation forward, you can contact them by emailing [email protected]
