Paul Cooke will cover Scotland and Northern Ireland. 

The National Autistic Society has announced Paul Cooke will join the charity’s top team as its new interim head of services in Scotland and Northern Ireland. 

He replaces Peter Jung who had been in the role for almost five years and is moving to RAMH as their new chief executive.

Mr Cooke has worked for the National Autistic Society for over 15 years and is moving from his role as deputy area manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The National Autistic Society operates four registered social care services in Scotland, which will be overseen by Paul Cooke. 

Three of these services are based in East Ayrshire and the other is based in Glasgow.

The National Autistic Society Scotland’s registered social care services support autistic adults to live fulfilling lives on their terms.

Paul said: “It is a privilege to take on this role within the National Autistic Society. 

“Our staff team is completely dedicated to improving the lives of the autistic people we support, and I’m really looking forward to continuing work with them in this new role.”

Peter Jung added: “It has been a joy to lead such a committed team. 

“I am extremely proud of the staff working in our services, and I’m particularly proud of their work during the COVID-19 pandemic, which not only kept the autistic people we support safe but also enabled them to keep doing lots of the things they enjoy.”
