The largest free third sector event in the UK is back at the SEC in Glasgow on 20 and 21 February with a new look

The programme for The Gathering 2019 has been revealed.

The largest free third sector event in the UK will return to the SEC in Glasgow on 20 and 21 February with a new look.

The conference will feature a marketplace with more than 100 exhibitors and a packed programme featuring over 70 workshops, seminars and training sessions.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will return for her annual breakfast address and a special leadership programme will be delivered by Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, one of the world’s largest philanthropic service organisations.

Tips on telling your story are one of the themes of the programme, with Electrify Marketing & Communications holding Love the Stories you Tell (Wednesday 20 Feb) and TFN co-hosting Creative Charity Comms the following day.

Business development firm Wren and Greyhound will deliver a session on embracing sustainability and Funding Scotland hold Make Fundraising Work for you on the Thursday afternoon (21 February).

Social enterprises are being invited to take part in a Social Enterprise Exchange Marketplace, hosted by Social Enterprise Scotland.
